Well, here we are: the eve of the Rocket League Championship Series Season 2 Grand Finals. Concluding an enthralling season, the Grand Finals will seek to live up to the hype with the four best teams from each region competing for the $50,000 grand prize.
Will the champion be a European team on home soil in Amsterdam? Will it be a North American team invading Europe? Here's what you might see when the action kicks off Saturday at 7 a.m. ET.
Kroket Lego in RLCS X BY Hein / July 20, 2020. Amsterdam, The Netherlands – We are very excited to announce that we have signed up for RLCS X. RLCS X will start this July so make sure it's on your calendar. Our Rocket League team is one of the best in Europe. The last time NRG played on European soil with their full roster, they finished in last place in Amsterdam, so anything short of Day 3 will be a disaster for this squad. Gibbs Starting off the World Championship is a showdown between North America’s Evil Geniuses, and Oceania’s Chiefs ESC. Dec 02, 2016 North America's third seed will look to keep the train rolling in Amsterdam. Keep up-to-date on the RLCS Grand Finals with the ESPN Esports website, Facebook, Twitter and the ESPN App. The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) is an annual (previously semiannual) Rocket League esports tournament series produced by Psyonix, the game's developer. It consists of qualification rounds in North America, South America, Europe, and Oceania, and culminates in a playoff bracket with teams from those regions.
Match 1: NRG versus Precision Z
This first match features North America's No. 1 seed and Europe's No 4. Normally these matches aren't close, but Precision Z has shown the ability to take down anyone and create magical upsets. While Precision Z might not create the magic it has shown in the past, it's expected to keep it close. NRG choked last time, but it surely won't choke in the very first match of the event.
Prediction: NRG 3-2 Precision Z
Match 2: Northern Gaming versus Genesis
North America's third seed will look to keep the train rolling in Amsterdam, but coming up against Northern Gaming is no feeble task. This set should really be a chance for either team to establish itself at the Grand Finals and steady the emotions on LAN. Casino com no deposit bonus. Unfortunately for Genesis, this set shouldn't be too close with Northern Gaming looking like the second-best team in the world.
Prediction: Northern 3-1 Genesis
Match 3: FlipSid3 Tactics versus Take 3
I would love to say Take 3 could win this. I really would. It cannot. FlipSid3 Tactics has looked incredible in recent months and seems to, once again, be the best team in the world. Take 3 simply does not have the individual skill or teamplay to be expected to keep up with FlipSid3. This set should reflect that and FlipSid3 should be able to comfortably advance to the latter rounds and probably the finals. If Take 3 were to pull off this upset, it would be one of the largest in Rocket League history.

Match 4: Mockit Aces vs Orbit
Rlcs Amsterdam Wikipedia
A matchup of two of the best teams in the world in the first round -- what could be better? Orbit comes in as the North American No. 2 seed, but for a majority of the season seemed the best team in the league by a large margin. Mockit Aces, on the other hand, are the stalwart third-best in Europe's Big Three and will be hoping to round off the day with a European three-peat. This should be one of the best matches of the day between two very good teams; in the end Orbit may just edge it over the European giants.
Prediction: Orbit 3-2 Mockit Aces
